  Portrait Society of America "Art of the Portrait" Conference - April 20-23, 2017

  Anna's painting "A Fleeting Moment" is a finalist in this year's international competition! Anna will be returning to paint in the opening "Face Off" demonstrations, as well as participating in the Cecilia Beaux Forum and an afternoon break-out session on "Doing Your Visual Homework". The event will be held in Atlanta - see the PSOA's website for details.

  June 14-16: Anna is returning to Dallas to teach a three-day workshop. We will work from live models each day, with an instructor demo in the morning and students painting from the model in the afternoon. For this workshop we will be emphasizing drawing, design, color, and anatomy, with special emphasis on hands. Artists should bring their own easels. Anna will also be giving a demo the evening before at the workshop location, from 7-9. The demo is free to workshop attendees, and $20 for anyone who wishes to come just for the demo. Space for the workshop is limited to 15 students, so be sure to register today!
  When: June 14-16, 2017 with a demo on June 13 (7-9 p.m.)
  Workshop location: 989 N. Beltline Road, #140, Dallas, TX 75248. Located in the Spring Creek Shopping center the Northwest corner of Coit and Beltline.
  Time: 10-5 each day, 1-hour break for lunch
  Fee: $425 (includes model fee)

  Hillsdale College Alumni Invitational Exhibition

  It's been ten years since Anna graduated from Hillsdale, and she is honored to be returning for the college's alumni art event, in conjunction with Homecoming 2017. Her paintings "The Wait and the Reward" (on loan from private collection) and "Enchanted Blossoms" (available for sale) will be on display, from September 10 through October 12, 2017.
